Focus and Scope
JInMA is the official medical journal of Indonesian Medical Association (Ikatan Dokter Indonesia/IDI). Journal of The Indonesian Medical Association (JInMA) (previously Majalah Kedokteran Indonesia [MKI]) is one of the medical information and media which has distributed to all member of Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (IDI), healthcare institutions, and medical faculties of Indonesia. JInMA aims to become media of PB IDI to healthcare institutions in rural area, especially recent update in medicine. Hope that this aim may become one of appreciation for authors to spread update to all readers in Indonesia. Scope of JInMA includes, but are not limited to the following type:

  1. Original article,
  2. Review article,
  3. Case report,
  4. Evidence-based case report (EBCR), and
  5. Editorial

JInMA has been registered and published with International Standard Serial Number (ISSN):

Open Access Policy
JInMA is an open access journal, which all published articles can be accessed without any charges. Readers have right to read, download, cite, copy, distribute, search, or link to the full texts of all articles. All articles have been edited and peer-reviewed.

 

Publication Frequency
JInMA is published 6 times a year with a frequency of 2 months.

 

Publication Charge
All articles submitted or published is free of charge.

 

Brief History
Journal of The Indonesian Medical Association (JInMA) / Majalah Kedokteran Indonesia (MKI) is medical scientific journal under supervision of Pengurus Besar Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (PB IDI). JInMA was founded since 1950 with a name of Madjalah Kedokteran Indonesia, led by Editor-in chief, Prof. Dr. Sudjono D Pusponegoro, and published each month by Ikatan Dokter Indonesia. As the time goes, JInMA has ever been managed by Yayasan Penerbitan Ikatan Dokter Indonesia. As the new policy applies, JInMA is managed by PB IDI now.
